Simple HTML/PHP Form Mail

This is a code snippet I designed while creating a website for one of my first clients. I have since used it on numerous occasions. Form Mailers have become more and more prominent with websites, especially business related websites.

I have tried very hard to find a php form mailer that is simple and works. However, I have yet to find a really good. Most of the form mail snippets on the web are complex. Although they pack great functionality, it is lost in a world of confusing, messy, and often unnecessary code.

This code snippet will gives users a way to easily integrate a mailer into your html or php based website. The visible fields are easily edited and variables can be added in a cinch. This snippet can be handle by anyone from a new php user to an advanced php developer. The form is easily customized to fit any need.

By default, the demo mailer, has a form with these options: name, company, email, phone, and comments. The required fields are marked with an “*”. For fields such as email and phone, the form checks to see if the inputted data matches a standard format. This helps protect against spam.

The only absolute change that must be made to the php form mailer, is the recipient email address. By default it is set to “youremail@yourdomain.com”, simply open up the “send-email.php” file and change the recipient email address.

This is a wallpaper design, based on Kingdom Hearts, that has Sora’s four forms. The wallpaper comes in three sizes (all three included in each downloads): 800×600, 1024×768, and 1600×1200.

I also made two versions of this wallpaper. One version has the Sora characters in full color (as seen in the screen shot above). The second version has the characters in black and white, with their colors surrounding them. You can download both versions below.

Highlight Active State CSS Menu

This is a simple, pure CSS menu that highlights the active menu item dynamically across a website. The method being used is the same as in the save state accordion menu I developed a little while back. The design of the menu is very simple because this particular menu has been designed only as a means of demonstrating the dynamic CSS highlighting method. More menus are under development and will be available soon.

Kingdom Hearts Google Chrome Theme

This is a Google Chrome Kingdom Hearts Theme. Currently the download contains three items:

A new resource folder of icons for Chrome on Mac OS X
A back up of the old resource icons for the Chrome on Mac OS X
A theme.crx file that works in both Windows and Mac

The current version of this theme supports all Google Chrome systems, except that the resource folder with the icon changes will only work in the Mac version of Chrome. You can download the Kingdom Hearts theme by using the link below and please donateto help support the themes development. Also, below are some installation instructions. Check back for updates often.

Windows Install

Theme Installation

Download the Theme and unzip its contents
Open the theme.crx file with Google Chrome
Chrome will automatically install the Kingdom Hearts theme file.

Icon Installation

Icons and icon installation instructions coming soon for Windows version of Google Chrome.

Mac Install

Theme Installation

Download the Kingdom Hearts theme and unzip its contents
Open the theme.crx file with Google Chrome
Chrome will automatically install the theme file.

Icon Installation

Download the zip file and unzip its contens
Open up the “Mac Resource” folder
Copy the Resources Folder
Open up Applications, select google chrome right click and “Show Package Contents”
Open “Contents” and then open “Versions”
Next open the latest chrome version folder and open the “Google Chrome Framework.framework” folder
Finally, paste the “Resources” folder from the download over the “Resources” folder you see.

Glow Lines Abstract Graphical Art

Simple Jquery Accordion Menu That Saves State

This is a simple accordion Jquery menu, that uses CSS to save the state of the menu across pages. The current design is a simple text based menu, that has a red line appear to the left of the drop down section. Other versions will be updated later with a more complex design.

iColorPicker is an application that was originally developed by Archaic Software for our own use. The purpose of this application is to aid web and graphic designers by allows them easy access to a color picker, color converter, and color pallete.

In a future release, iColorPicker will support all the major color schemes including RGB, RGBA, CMYK, HSV, HSL, YUV, YIC, HEX, and Grey Scale. The app will make it wasy to either input or pick a color and then convert the color to the format of your choice.

It is an open source application and is free to modified and distrubuted under the GNU public lincense. iColorPicker is built on PhoneGap. It would be greatly appreciated if any code changes were submitted back to us via email to staff@archaicsoftware.com.

iMortgagePrinciple is an application that allows the user to input the price of a loan, the down payment, annual interest rate, and loan term (in years). The mortgage calculator will then automatically calculate the mortgage principle, total payments due, and total monthly payment price. iMortgagePrinciple is a free app on the app store.

The Archaic Software App, is an iPhone flash card application. It is the original app idea that started this companies development. In order to put out a top notch application, the Archaic Software App is still under development.

The core principle of this application is to be able to study question and answers on your iphone rather than carrying a large stack of actual flash cards. A desktop version of this application will later accompany the iphone app. This will allow the user to sync and extract flash card packs.
